Jayson Tatum is arguably the most coveted basketball recruit in the entire 2016 recruiting class. As only a sophomore-to-be, Tatum has offers from some of the best college programs in the country.

Tatum was first offered by Mizzou before he even played in a high school game. Now he holds scholarship offers from: Kansas, Ohio State, Kentucky, Florida, Memphis, Michigan State, North Carolina, Indiana, and many other suitors.

Tatum recently discussed his college recruiting experience and what he is looking for in a school:

There is no doubt that Tatum is a highly skilled basketball player, and many scouts think he is just developing his game. There was a lot of chatter at the Sunflower Showcase that Tatum has the size, skills, IQ, and “it” factor to be an NBA talent.

At the Sunflower Showcase, fans from all around the Greater Kansas City area would fill the gym to see Tatum in action. He dominated in pool play and showed his ability to take over games. He can hit from outside, he can back a defender down, he can handle the point, he can run in transition, and he has that extra gear to get to the basket and finish with authority.

College fans are anxiously waiting Tatum’s decision, but he has stated he’ll probably wait until next summer. Until then, just enjoy his talents!
