The 2022 RecruitLook Hoops Circuit Finale and Open Run heads back to Kansas City. This event will be the host for the RecruitLook Hoops Circuit Finale while incorporating the Hardwood Classic! Two brands... 1 large event! This event has some of the best collection of talent, featuring the top independents playing in the RecruitLook Hoops League and shoe circuit teams playing in the Open Run. Wristbands must be worn at all times to gain admittance.


Notable Rules:

(2) 22 minute running halves
6 player fouls.
No 2-shot bonus, everything is 1-&-1
(2) :30 timeouts and (1) :60 timeout
Overtime is :45 stopped clock
2nd overtime is sudden death


Teams are responsible for bringing their own warmup and game balls.


When reading, either the team on the right, or in listing, the team on the TOP is the HOME team and will wear white / light colors. However, you should always bring both sets of uniforms to the gym.


All team coaches must check in at tourney headquarters before their first game to verify their rosters, show proof of Team Coach, and to get a coaches pass. This event is a Stay-and-Play event, requiring all teams and their guests in need of hotels to reserve their rooms through our hotel provider.  To ensure your spot in this event, make sure you book all your hotels through our Hotel Coordinator, Sam Matsil. Anyone that competes in the RecruitLook Hoops Events is eligible to get invited to our Larry Hughes Elite Camp. Larry Hughes will be the lead instructor, and athletes will be given basketball skills and drills, recruiting seminars, life lessons, and scrimmages in front of college coaches.

2021 Event Highlights

We hosted 1,000+ boys basketball teams in 2021 and over 1,000 college coaches (in-person & on the live streams) throughout the spring and summer. Our circuit teams benefited by playing top-level competition in front of college coaches.

2020 Event Highlights

COVID-19 impacted our overall tournament schedule but it didn’t stop the star power and talented hoopers from showcasing their skills. Hundreds of D1 & other schools watched via Live Stream.

2019 Event Highlights

The RecruitLook Hoops Events were once again loaded with talent! There were more than 350+ college coaches during the 2 Live Period windows, and the Larry Hughes Elite Camp was full of college bound prospects.

2016 Event Highlights

Players like Jack Nunge (Iowa), Mark Smith (Illinois), James Wiseman (#1 ranked), Darius Garland (Vanderbilt), Javon Pickett (Mizzou), Zion Harmon (2021 #1 PG), Brady Manek (Oklahoma) and others were at RecruitLook Hoops Events.

2018 Event Highlights

3 big-time tournaments that had over 250 teams and 200 college coaches, and one of the top camps in the nation, the Larry Hughes Elite Camp.

2015 Event Highlights

Tons of talent again in 2015 with the likes of Colin Sextion (Alabama), Chaundee Brown (Wake Forest), Rodney Miller (Miami), Shamorie Ponds (St. John’s), Al Durham (Indiana), Malik William (Clemson) and others were at RecruitLook Hoops Events.

2017 Event Highlights

150 teams from 19 different states and Canada compete in the RecruitLook Hoops’ Sunflower Showcase event. Over 200 college coaches were in attendance.

2014 Event Highlights

Highlighting the Sunflower Showcase was 5-star Allonzo Trier of Athlete’s First. Trier was unanimously named D1 Circuit’s MVP of the NIKE EYBL. Trier lead Nike’s EYBL circuit at a whopping 29.4 ppg, and is the all-time leading points scorer for the league.

2013 Event Highlights

Jayson Tatum stole the show at the 2013 RecruitLook Hoops’ Sunflower Showcase with a packed house of college coaches and fans for each of his games.
