Sunflower Showcase | July 17-19, 2020
The Sunflower Showcase is the longest running boys AAU basketball tournament in the Midwest. Entering the 20th year of the prestigious event, AAU teams from all over the country will be in attendance. Each year, some of the top talent will be on display for the Sunflower Showcase. Numerous NBA players have played in this event, to name a few: Jayson Tatum, Blake Griffin, Derrick Rose, Collin Sexton, Bradley Beal, John Collins, Landry Shamet.
Event Registration Instructions
Visit our event page on Exposure Basketball to register AND pay for your team(s). You must be registered and paid prior to participating in this event.
We must have your rosters submitted prior to the event. You can input that information from the basketball Exposure page where you also registered for the event.
This event is a Stay-and-Play event, requiring all teams and their guests in need of hotels to reserve their rooms through our hotel provider. TBD Travel makes booking hotels easy, while finding the best possible rates. To ensure your spot in this event, make sure you book all your hotels through TBD.

EACH TEAM IS GUARANTEED 3 GAMES. TEAMS WILL NEED TO PUT ON THEIR EXPOSURE REGISTRATION OR MESSAGE THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR ON WHICH DAYS THEY CAN PLAY. WE ONLY WANT TEAMS TO BE AT THE TOURNAMENT FOR 2 TOTAL DAYS. YOU CAN PLAY ON FRIDAY & SATURDAY OR SAT/SUN.
Notable Rule Updates:
(2) 24 minute running halves
Clock stops under 90 seconds in 2nd half if 10 points or less
6 player fouls.
No 2-shot bonus, everything is 1-&-1
All Free Throws on fouls are 1-for-2 or 1-for 3 (if shooting foul on 3 pointer)
(2) :30 timeouts and (1) :60 timeout
Overtime is :45 stopped clock
2nd overtime is sudden death

Teams are responsible for bringing their own warmup and game balls.
When reading, either the team on the right, or in listing, the team on the TOP is the HOME team and will wear white / light colors. However, you should always bring both sets of uniforms to the gym.
All team coaches must check in at tourney headquarters before their first game to verify their rosters, show proof of Team Coach, and to get a coaches pass. Each team will get 2 total coaches passes (1 Head Coach, 1 Assistant Coach). Coaches passes are only for Team Coaches. Team check-in will be at OKUN Fieldhouse.
LARRY HUGHES ELITE CAMP
Anyone that competes in the RecruitLook Hoops Events is eligible to get invited to our Larry Hughes Elite Camp. Larry Hughes will be the lead instructor, and athletes will be given basketball skills and drills, recruiting seminars, life lessons, and scrimmages in front of college coaches.

2014 Event Highlights
Highlighting the Sunflower Showcase was 5-star Allonzo Trier of Athlete’s First. Trier was unanimously named D1 Circuit’s MVP of the NIKE EYBL. Trier lead Nike’s EYBL circuit at a whopping 29.4 ppg, and is the all-time leading points scorer for the league.
2016 Event Highlights
Players like Jack Nunge (Iowa), Mark Smith (Illinois), James Wiseman (#1 ranked), Darius Garland (Vanderbilt), Javon Pickett (Mizzou), Zion Harmon (2021 #1 PG), Brady Manek (Oklahoma) and others were at RecruitLook Hoops Events.
2015 Event Highlights
Tons of talent again in 2015 with the likes of Colin Sextion (Alabama), Chaundee Brown (Wake Forest), Rodney Miller (Miami), Shamorie Ponds (St. John’s), Al Durham (Indiana), Malik William (Clemson) and others were at RecruitLook Hoops Events.
